A Simple Way to Manage Bundles in Ecommerce
Quite often you want to sell products together – in bundles or sets. However, this will require to either have a new SKU/ barcode in your Warehouse Management System (WMS), or to define a complex set of rules in case any of the products you have in a bundle runs out of stock.
There is a special functionality in Mercoria allows you to get several products together and define a Virtual Set directly in the platform. When a customer orders your set, the order goes to your WMS as a special recipe containing all the products you have defined in the set. Once you have a product within the set being out of stock, the data syncs again across your sales channels and the Virtual Set is marked as sold out. For you that means more options to get rid of some products and close to zero orders you need to cancel because of products not being available.
